Tanzanite is a blue and violet variety of the mineral Zoisite(a calcium Aluminium hydroxyl sorocilicate). Tanzanite name is derived on the name of Tanzania because of its source only in on north Tanzania Every colour stone has a hardness that is scaled on Moh's scale 6.5 hardness for Tanzanite.
